Executive Board Reports:

  • President: Attended "Townhall meeting" w/ Jon Keehn
  • Vice President of Programming: Safety Street went well. Dating game will be rescheduled to NOV. 9th 6:30 in the Ballroom. Tomorrow (10/27/04) in the S.U. Basement at 9:30 will be the showing of "13 Going on 30". Thr. (10/28) Breast Cancer Awareness 4-8pm at Calihan, Walk ½ hr. - Get Free Shirt (Donate $)
  • VP of Finance: Committee is set (Had first meeting to clarify goals), 1st SENSOG meeting is Thrs. at 9pm.
  • Vice President of Public Relations: Newsletter went out. Good job to those that provided updates…please be more prompt for the next one.
  • Vice President of Mission and Values: Working on getting t-shirts for the Nov. 13 charity event. Tell any organization that may want to participate to contact Marina.
  • Secretary: Go to office hours and keep the door open while you are there! Minutes will be in the "Yellow Folder" for you to review if you didn't get them e-mailed to you.

College Representatives Reports: (Twice/month & 1 report for Newsletter/month)

  • Architecture: Student Advisory meeting last night - Revised college mission; Talked to Dean about better advertising of events.
  • Business: China Study Abroad Program - Info sessions 10/28 12:45-2pm C&F 118 -or- 10/29 1-2pm C&F 118…open to all students!

  • Education: We have a new Dean
  • Engineering:
  • Nursing: Officially moved to McNichols campus, Info mtg. 2/16 at O.D. campus, 3/28 Honor's Convocation
  • Minority: 10/28 1:30pm mtg. in Ballroom

  • Commuter: Commuter Advisory Board will begin; Commuter Meeting 11/4 12:45 in LS-113; Presented new ideas to Senate!

  • Special Guest:
  • Student Activity Fee Committee: Clarification of the purpose of this fee is needed for opposed students; Mtg. next week.
  • Office Renovation Committee: The wheels are turning.
  • Campus Safety: Worked on letter; Mtg. 10/28 in QC at 12:50pm

  • Grounds Petition: Turn into the office this week

New Business: New Senator Nicola Mucci

Announcements: Get well Chris. It was great to see you at the meeting! A thank you letter needs to be made to Judy Garfield for all her help on the website.
