Executive Board Reports:

  • President: T-Shitrts will hopefully be here by this semester
  • Vice President of Programming: November schedule: Event Reminder. Team 25 Entrepreneurial Speaker 7pm FL (11/14), Drunk Driving Simulator 2-8pm Kassab Mall (11/15), Movie: Anchorman 9:30pm LS113 (11/16), Colleague-Waited Meal 4-6:30pm in the TDR (11/23)
  • VP of Finance: Nov. SENSOG meeting will be the 19th at 9:15 in the SU Rm. # 215
  • Vice President of Public Relations: Will be handing out candy with website on it at lunch on Thurs.
  • Vice President of Mission and Values: Sign-up to drive on Sat. They will leave at 8:45 (meet in F. L.) Working with FocusHOPE - delivering food, 9pm meeting at QC
  • Secretary: Began O.H.I.P!

College Representatives Reports:

  • Education: Will be meeting with dean next week
  • Liberal Arts: Met with Dean, Has put up flyers advertising herself
  • Nursing: Meet with dean - being re-accredited in Dec…Wants to have an open forum with dept. chairs of college.

  • Minority: Meeting with Sandra Yost -
  • Commuter: Held a committee forum (No one came), Judy is going to help with commuter website
  • Next week:

Committee Reports:

  • S. A. F. - Need to set up meeting
  • Office Committee - Still looking for donated furniture, working on painting, everyone please help keep the office clean.
  • Campus Safety - Spoke with director Williams, committee will soon be forming to create ideas.
  • Grounds Petition - Surveys have been turned into Mike Houdyshell, he will try to take it from here.
  • President Council: Should be forming in January

New Business:
MI Tuition Grant is being withheld from private institutions after this calendar year. Protest group is being organized, Meeting 11/23 at 9am (See handout) We are looking into getting food service as special guest soon.
Old Business:
Contact information has been given , but we are still waiting for a response in regards to the Shared Governances.
Announcements:
More people need to start voicing their opinions! Stay active and involved!
