Executive Board Reports:

  • President: Will be attending the leadership conference in Chicago in January for Presidents of Jesuit Univesities
  • Vice President of Programming: House Meeting last night, Planning for next semester will be meeting Sun. Dec. 5 @ 4:30, Colleague waited Thanksgiving Feast Tonight
  • VP of Finance: SENSOG meeting last night, Money awarded for Dec./Jan. to 6 different organizations, Senates account has $4500 remaining, Read through responses from score cards.
  • Vice President of Public Relations: Next week Newsletter reports are due! Tell what you've been doing and ideas for next semester!
  • Vice President of Mission and Values: Hunger Week was a BIG SUCCESS! Mission Effectiveness Committee meeting was held last week - discussed ways of opening communication.
  • Secretary: O H.I.P. will continue up after Thanksgiving break…we need two consecutive weeks from everyone!

  • Education: Wants Liberal Arts and Education together, Possibility of advisory board, Speaker coming Dec. 1 & 3.
  • Engineering:
  • Nursing: Talked to Dept. Chair about having an open forum (still working on the time)
  • Minority: DID NOT REPORT
  • Resident:
  • Commuter: Posted flyer regarding Commuter Advisory Board, received recognition via VN. Setting up a meeting to get a room for "Commuter Lounge". Website should be up next week.
  • Next Week:

Committee Reports:

  • Special Guest: Sodexho
  • Student Activity Fee Committee: Currently is $41 should raise to $75, money will go to Internet service, SENSOG, and library. Will present idea next semester to board of trustees
  • Office Renovation Committee: Finish painting this weekend, getting in contact with furniture stores.
  • Campus Safety: Meeting Director Williams, Safety forum 2nd or 3rd week of Jan.
  • Presidential Committee: Will set-up by Dec. and have first meeting in Jan.

Old Business: Met with Sister Nancy about shared gov. will tell them at next meeting that SS E-board will be attending the next weekend.T-Shirts early next semester.
New Business: Zack will be odereing folders for all senators. Should be in time for next semester. Senator Baggio will be working with the VN.
Announcements: Sen. Hemler has left-over fast-a-thon shirts.
