Senator(s) of the Week: Adam Coppersmith and Laurel Vandeputte

Executive Board Reports:

  • President: Spoke with Sodexho,they will potentially be guest speakers,think of questions.
  • Vice President of Programming: Anchor Man LS115 tomorrow @ 9:30 we'll pass out free stuff Nov. 23 - Colleague waited meal for dinner at the TDR. Help out around 4pm Nov. 22 - House meeting at 9:30 in the SU 203, we'll discuss homecoming
  • VP of Finance: Has updated list of organizations receiving funding from SENSOG from Nov. Next meeting is Nov. 22 - 9:15 in SU 203
  • Vice President of Public Relations: Passed out candy for website promotion.Meeting tomorrow night at 9:45 in QC. Next week Newsletter reports are due!!!
  • Vice President of Mission and Values: This week is hunger week.Worked with FocusHOPE last week and that went well.Next service project will be next semester
  • Secretary: Continue your Office Hours for O H.I.P!

College Representatives Reports: (Twice/month & 1 report for Newsletter/month)

  • Architecture: Student advisory meeting next week
    Exhibition in the Architecture building is taking place this week
  • Business: Meeting with members of CECC to come up with ideas to improve participation, meeting Thrs.
  • Liberal Arts:
  • Science: Canned-food drive is taking place right now….until Nov. 22
  • Education:
  • Engineering: Convinced Dean to hold a forum, Dec. 4th 9am there will be a "bike fixing" also having a can drive
  • Nursing:
  • Minority:
  • Resident: Had meeting with Mike Cunningham. If staying on campus over Thanksgiving check our proxy card with office. RA interest sessions are coming up.
  • Commuter:

Committee Reports:

  • Special Guest: Soon Sodexho will be coming
  • Student Activity Fee Committee: Waiting to hear back from sources on current distribution of funds
  • Office Renovation Committee: Need more people to help out. Laurel and David are working on this.
  • Campus Safety: Meeting with Public Safety soon
  • Presidential Committee: Setting up a meeting location and time

Old Business:

  • MI tuition Grant - Spoke with director and they discouraged a petition/protest, but they'd like to hear from the students' Shared Gov. - Meeting with Sister Nancy tomorrow. T-Shirts by semester's end.
